Open Up Studios

OpenUp Sheffield Art Studios

is an annual event held in and around Sheffield over the first two weekends in May.

It’s an inspiring and free event for people to visit participating artists in their studios.

The event gives people the chance to find out more about the creative process, to view work in progress and to purchase finished pieces .

The Chapel Artists are taking part in the event,so this is your opportunity to visit The OLd Chapel Studios and Gallery to meet us all !

Please note that, although we are on the ground floor,the entrance has two steps to negotiate. If you have mobility issues,we will do our best to assist you if at all possible. But wheelchairs will be difficult.

Following the devastating floods in Baslow last weekend the OLD CHAPEL studios & gallery is pleased to welcome Ten Artists to an alternative venue this coming weekend for their annual exhibition . As always the event will raise funds for Samaritans Sheffield and we would be delighted if you could join us and take a look at 100 new works of art .

An exhibition from six artists from Exchange Place Studios.

The six painters have responded to the theme ‘A Sense of Space’ in their own idiom ranging from abstract to tight observation. We hope that the viewer will enjoy our range of explorations on the subject.
